Close to 300 Requests and still no decision on a Public Hearing from USACE

The US Army Corps of Engineers has received at least 289 requests to hold a public hearing on the impacts of All Aboard Florida to wetlands and surface waters.

A hearing still has not been scheduled by the Corps despite requests from The Guardians of Martin County, the Martin County Board of County Commissioners and hundreds of other individuals, organizations, and agencies.

Attached is the Corps response to Martin County’s request, stating that a decision has not yet (as of December 22, 2014) been made whether to hold a public hearing.
