Governor DeSantis signed the budget for fiscal year 2020-2021, which begins July 1, 2020.

For the environment, more than $625 million will go toward Everglades restoration and and the protection of water resources.
Additionally, the budget includes $100 million for Florida Forever, to ensure the conservation and preservation of our natural resources for future generations. This is a considerable amount considering the challenging times.
