Stop Brightline’s Stuart Stop Now

Martin County residents have been fighting Brightline for years. On Monday, September 17,2018, Time For Action local government officials are holding a public meeting to consider building a Brightline station in downtown Stuart. Put simply, that’s unacceptable.

Brightline’s Not Any Brighter
This is the same railroad that’s had at least six deaths on the tracks between Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach beginning with trial runs last year. The same folks that refused to build in several safety features to protect Stuart residents until citizens complained. The same people who have tried every trick in the book to get financing so they can continue to threaten our quality of life.

Make Your Voice Heard Now
Please plan to attend the meeting this Monday. Tell these local officials we don’t want a station stop in Stuart. We don’t want Brightline in Stuart. We don’t want our quality of life destroyed by trains traveling up to 120 miles per hour.

Special Meeting: Train Station Workshop
Date: September 17, 2018

Time: 5:30pm

Location: City Commission Chambers
121 SW Flagler Avenue
