The Women’s Power Lunch group in Jensen Beach featured elected officials and local activists in a “Save the Lagoon” panel on August 29. 2013. The purpose was to help people understand what can be done to save the St. Lucie River Estuary and the Indian River Lagoon from the devastating discharges from Lake Okeechobee.
