STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — For years, adults have been fighting for change to stop releases from Lake Okeechobee, to stop the growth of toxic blue green algae.
Now, the kids are stepping in to fight for change.
A group called River Kidz is heading to our nation’s capital in D.C. to Congress to stop ruining our waterways. The River Kidz fight for safe and healthy waterways.
River Kidz were invited by Congressman Mast for “Lagoon Action Day” on Tuesday.
