Instead of this being a punch line to an old joke, if we put good people in government, we wouldn’t be paying Big Sugar to pollute our waters or cutting funds that protect our public resources, such as our Indian River Lagoon.
Pretty pictures, smiling politicians, funds that end up in the wrong pockets — it’s all so familiar.
