Help Shape the Future of Martin County’s Transportation Systems

Do you have suggestions about the future of the transportation systems in Martin County?

Share your thoughts with the people who make decisions about our roads, rails, buses, recreational trails and bike paths.

On Tuesday, October 8th, Martin County’s Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold an open house style meeting at the Port Salerno Civic Center to get public input on our Long Range Transportation Plan.

You’ll be able to share your thoughts on what types of transportation should get funded and the methods used to pay for them.  Some examples are connected bicycle, pedestrian and trail networks, road and bridge expansions, passenger rail stops, and parking lots for ride sharing services.

Should tax dollars, bonds or impacts fees pay for these improvements and how will this improve your quality of life? These are some of the questions up for discussion.
