Harmony Ranch Proposal Unanimously Rejected

Martin County Commissioners voted 5-0 today (April 24) against the Harmony Ranch proposal.  The development was to be built west of Hobe Sound.
Harmony Ranch wanted to build more than 2,000 units on a comparable number of acres of existing cattle pastureland outside the Urban Services District.
During the County Commission meeting, dozens of people opposed to the development expressed their concerns that Harmony would create urban sprawl and be costly to taxpayers.
450 people joined The Guardians of Martin County letter writing campaign to Commissioners asking them to deny the project.
Thank you to everyone who sent a letter and to the entire Commission.
