Editorial: Public Participation Critical to success of Indian River Lagoon Council

The Indian River Lagoon Council will hold its second meeting March 27.

Chances are you know little about the council beyond what has been reported in this newspaper.

The council is a promising collaboration of four county governments — Martin, St. Lucie, Brevard and Volusia — with the St. Johns River and South Florida Water Management districts and the state Department of Environmental Protection.
