At the October meeting the Guardians of Martin County Board of Directors unanimously approved a white paper that acknowledges the need for the technical advancement that these centers signify -- but also believes development must be accompanied by meaningful safeguards, transparency, accountability, and responsible resource management. On October 27 at 9am the Martin County Board of County Commissioners will be considering a 1 year moratorium on the submission and acceptance of applications related to large-scale date centers. We encourage everyone who is able to attend and witness this important issue.
