Guardians’ Executive Director Greg Braun participated in the Florida Oceanographic Society’s 2022 Coastal Science Lecture Series. His presentation informed listeners about the the Loxa-Lucie Headwaters Initiative, which envisions a protected ecological corridor linking the sources of the Loxahatchee and St. Lucie Rivers. The new corridor will create a preserve for native plants and wildlife, connecting lands consisting of nearly 70,000 acres.
