Any registered voter in Martin County may vote by mail (NO REASON REQUIRED).
Only the elector, or if directly instructed by the elector, a member of his or her immediate family or legal guardian can request a Vote by Mail ballot for the voter. Immediate family means the elector’s spouse or the parent, child, grandparent, or sibling of the elector.
A request from an elector must include:
1. Full name;
2. The elector’s Martin County address;
3. The elector’s date of birth;
4. The full address and telephone number where the ballot is to be sent;
5. Election(s) requested;
6. Signature (written request only)
In addition, if the elector has designated an immediate family member or legal guardian to request a Vote by Mail ballot, the designee must provide the following information:
1. The designee’s full name
2. The designee’s full address
3. The designee’s driver’s license number, if available
4. The designee’s relationship to the elector
5. The designee’s signature (written request only)
